Interactive Whiteboards

ICT Educational Services (IES) supply, install and support products from the two market leaders of interactive whiteboards, namely SMART Technologies and Promethean. Our installations include mains electrics for projectors (supplied with NICEIC certification), custom cabling for video and audio signals and full software support. Projectors can be installed in most locations including flat roofs, suspended and tall ceilings.

Administration and Curriculum Networks

IES can design, install and support integrated structured cabling systems including copper and fibre Fast Ethernet networks to Category 5e (Cat5e) and Category 6 (Cat6) standards. IES has extensive experience installing enterprise standard wireless networks in ICT suites, laptop trolleys in classrooms and wireless access to remote buildings.

ICT Suites

IES can design, build and install bespoke ICT suites and computer benching for any premise.

CCTV

Security cameras and CCTV systems can be installed and supported using existing or new network infrastructure (mains electrics or Power Over Ethernet (POE)).

Training

IES offer bespoke training with interactive sessions specifically tailored to meet your ICT training requirements. Sessions include SMART Board or Promethean interactive whiteboard software, Microsoft and Adobe software suites and general ICT related topics.
 

ICT Advisory Services

IES offers ICT consultancy services, providing advice and support to schools and liaising with the local LEA.

PAT Testing

IES provides PAT testing by qualified technicians conforming to the IEE code of practice for In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment. Our Megger PAT4DV/3 portable testing equipment is available for daily or weekly hire.

Email Management and MLE

IES can install and configure Microsoft Exchange Server 2008 email management solutions and we support the London Managed Learning Environment (MLE) powered by Fronter.

Projector Cleaning and Maintenance

IES offers a maintenance service where we clean and service your classroom projectors each term.

Asset Management, Incident and Accident Reporting Databases

IES custom writes databases for asset management and accident and incident reporting. These databases provide bespoke single point management software to record and log critical and sensitive school data. For example, an asset management database will record all inventory (workstations, network items, software, telephones, musical instruments, security systems etc) and store confidential contract and facilities management information.

Print Management and Photocopier Leasing

IES provides print management strategies to reduce printing costs, eliminate waste paper and control network printing resources.

Data Recovery

IES can recover data from scratched CDs, damaged USB memory sticks, hard drives and RAID server systems.

Video Conferencing

IES can install a diverse range of audio visual and multimedia systems.
